Packer's new companies on Stock Exchange

James Packer's new companies Crown and Consolidated Media Holdings both made their debut on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) today Crown (CWN) opening at $14-80 a share while Consolidated Media Holdings (CMJ) opened at $3.70 a share.

The new companies replace Publishing Broadcasting Limited (PBL), which was formed after the merger of the Nine Network and Australian Consolidated Press.

PBL traded for the final time on the Australia Stock Exchange on Friday with its shares closing at $20.80.
