Visa Debit Card now available at NAB

NAB Visa Debit Cards are finally available with the National Australia Bank issuing debit cards to customers allowing them to make card purchases online and over the phone like everyday credit card customers.
The debit card gives you the same types of benefits in terms of using your card to make purchases in the same way you would with a credit card with the big difference being that the debit card draws on funds that you have put into the account while a credit card is drawing on credit funds.
The NAB Visa debit card can also be used at Automatic Teller Machines (ATM) and at over 20 million locations around the world.
The NAB offers their Visa Debit Cards with all new smart everyday accounts. The NAB Visa Debit cards are available in three colours, black, red or white.

- Zero Liability - The NAB Visa Debit Card has no liability should you be the victim of fraud. If you didn't make the transaction that appears on your statement, then you aren't liable to pay it.
Depending on which type of savings account you open with the National will determine what you need to do to avoid fees.
For example, if you open a NAB Gold Banking everyday saver account, you can pay $12 each month to use any ATM machine Australia wide and not be charged a fee to do so.
To avoid paying the $12 fee each month you will need to have deposits totalling of at least $5,000 in a month. For many people that is simply their monthly wages going into the account.
