Charge Cards

Charge Cards are another name for Credit and Debit Cards. There are many different types of charge cards available for both personal and business needs.

Personal charge cards include your everyday Mastercard, Visacard, American Express, Diners Club, Debit Card and any retail store cards. These charge cards all allow you to purchase items by simply producing your card and charging it against your credit limit or your personal savings.

Both small business and corporations can also take advantage of charge cards.

A small business owner may need some short term help with a cashflow problem. A charge card can be an easy and quick solution while a corporation may issue charge cards to staff to ensure they can go about their business without having to waste time trying to balance the petty cash because somebody purchased some petrol in the company car.

Convenience is one of the main benefits of having charge cards. However, credit charge cards such as Mastercard, Visacard, American Express, Diners Club and store cards do incur penalty interest rates if you don't pay your outstanding bill prior to the due date.
