At call

"At call" is used to describe funds that are accessible at any time, instead of being locked away like term deposits. It generally applies to account access, but not necessarily to withdrawals and similar transactions. Although at call funds are technically available 24/7, access is usually limited by the operating hours of the bank or financial institution. ATM and internet banking accounts are examples of at call accounts. Some accounts can be accessed anytime but can take up to 24 hours to process certain transactions (usually withdrawals), as is the case with cash management funds.
