CRAA
The Credit Referencing Association of Australia (CRAA) is a premier credit reporting agency responsible for keeping files on all borrowers and financial institutions. The CRAA notes whenever you apply for financing, the term and value of each loan, and the type of loans you apply for. It does not, however, record the outcome of your applications. Whenever you apply for a loan, you sign a privacy agreement allowing your lender to check your CRAA information. Lenders use this information to see how financially stable you are and likely you are to pay off the loan.
