Giro Post
Giro Post is an Australian banking service allowing holders of card-based accounts to make bank transactions via post. It supports a wide range of personal banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, balance inquiries, and the opening of new accounts. Close to 3,000 Giro Post outlets are located throughout Australia, and most homes are within 7.5km from an outlet. To use the service, one must have a card account such as an ATM card, Redicard, or a VISA Access Credit Card. Giro Post mainly serves credit union accounts and is available to tourists.
